Ronald's Seafood began it's Bahamian crawfish (spiny lobster) sales under then, manager, Leo Pinder, in 1975, selling and shipping crawfish tails to companies in Nassau, the Bahamas capital, who, in turn, sold and exported to other countries.

Soon after, in 1978, and under new manager, Gilbert Pinder - Leo Pinder's son - export began through a broker and crawfish exports were made directly to the United States and Europe.
Twenty-five years later, Ronald's Seafood sell it's crawfish solely to Darden Restaurants (owners of Red Lobster and Olive Garden Restaurants). Crawfish exports which originated at 200,000 pounds annually, now exceed over one million pounds, annually.
